El blog está dirigido a alumnos de inglés de primero de básico. Decidí crearlo en el año 2009 para intentar ayudar a mis alumnos principiantes: yo busco las cosas para que vosotros dediquéis el tiempo a practicar.
Para acceder a las actividades de años anteriores tenéis que mirar en Contents y elegir el File o el tipo de actividad.

Game"Destination Impossible": read and follow directions. (las instrucciones son un poco largas, pero el juego está muy bien, try it!!) - Click on 'play the game' and read the instructions (e.g. Help Liz get her kids to school in time), when you choose the character they give you two options for that character, you choose the one you prefer. The map with the route appears and you clik on 'start'. When the game starts they ask you if you want to play 'against time' or 'no timer'. There are 10 instructions for each destination. You are on the red spot, read the instruction and choose A, B or C. // Haz click en 'play the game' y lee las instrucciones (e.g. Ayuda a Liz a llevar a sus niños al colegio a tiempo), cuando eliges el personaje te dan dos opciones para ayudarle y tú eliges la que prefieres. Aparece el mapa con la ruta y le das a 'start'. Cuando el juego empieza te preguntan si quieres jugar 'against time' (contra reloj) o 'no timer' (sin tiempo). Hay 10 instrucciones para cada destino. Tú estás en el punto rojo que parpadea, lees la instrucción y eliges A, B o C.
Listening: 1.Watch the video. You can watch it first without subtitles and then do the exercises or you can watch it with the subtitles. 2. Listen and follow the instructions to find the place on the map. Then click play again and the route will appear on the map.

Waterloo Sunset is a song about the view of London over the River Thames in the evening, when millions of people are going home from work. It was a big hit for The Kinks in the mid 1960s.

Glossary: to waste time: to spend uselessly, without profit. to hang around: to spend time in a certain place or in certain company. nothing ever happens: nunca pasa nada. to wonder: to be curious to know. isolation: the state of being separated from others. joy: emotion of great happiness.
